Grief doesn’t always look dramatic.

Sometimes it shows up as heaviness you can’t shake, numbness that won’t lift, restlessness with no clear cause or simply the persistent feeling that you are not quite yourself.

This work offers a structured, guided process to help you understand what you’re carrying, begin to work with it honestly and find your footing again.

The Grief & Beyond Approach

Awareness

Noticing what is present

Something feels off, even if you can’t name it yet.

This stage is about slowing down enough to notice what is already there. Not analysing it. Not fixing it. Just becoming honest about what is present.

Expression

Working with what is held

Grief doesn’t always respond to talking. Often, it lives deeper than words.

Through yoga-based movement, breath and guided awareness, this stage helps you access and release what the body has been holding, without any pressure to explain or perform.

Integration

Finding steadiness and moving forward

This is not about returning to who you were before. It is about finding solid ground in who you are now.

This stage supports you in rebuilding with greater clarity, steadiness and a real sense of direction.

What Makes This Different

A different kind of healing

Most grief support relies on talking. This work goes further.

It draws on the wisdom of yoga – using movement, breath and awareness to reach what words alone often can’t. It is not passive. It asks something of you. And it works.

What a Session Feels Like

Sessions are structured, supported and held in a safe space – but may not always feel comfortable.

This work asks you to meet what you have been carrying. It deliberately brings you into contact with what the body and mind have been holding.

You will not be pushed beyond what you are ready for. But you will be encouraged to go further than you might go alone.

That is where the work happens. And that is what makes it effective.

Begin Where You Are

You don’t need clarity to start. You don’t need to have the words. You just need to take one step.

My approach will support you through grief

Over time, you will begin to notice a greater capacity to stay with your emotions, and fewer moments of overwhelm. Self-understanding will deepen, inner strength will quietly renew itself and gentle confidence in facing life again will begin to take shape.

You do not need any prior experience with yoga or coaching to begin Grief & Beyond, only a willingness to arrive as you are.
